Push notifications
The first time you open the Inbox, a card offers to Turn on notifications. Tap Enable notifications to get the system prompt, or Not now and enable them later from Settings. There are two kinds, each with its own switch under Settings > Notifications:- New messages: a customer wrote in a conversation that is assigned to you. The notification shows the contact’s name and the message (or “Photo”, “Audio”, “Document”… for media). Conversations that nobody owns do not notify anyone, so assignment is what routes the alert to a phone.
- New conversations: a conversation was just Assigned to you, by a teammate, an assignment rule, or the AI’s transfer.

Your availability
Your session status decides whether new conversations reach you: Active (you receive new conversations), Inactive, or On a break (you do not). On the phone it lives in the pill at the top of the Inbox and, for agents, on the Home tab. Tap it to change. It is the same status you see in the web Inbox header, so switching it here switches it everywhere.Settings
- Switch organization: every workspace you belong to, with a check on the active one. Tap another to switch in place. The Inbox, contacts, and notifications reload for that organization. See Roles and permissions for how organizations work.
- Notifications: the two switches described above.
- Appearance: Light, Dark, or System to follow the phone. Applies immediately, tab bar included.
- Resources: Platform status and Help center open in your browser. Check for updates fetches a new version if one is available and offers Restart to apply update.
- Version and Sign out.
