Connecting Instagram and Messenger

Instagram is included on every plan, and feeds into the same Inbox and the same AI agent as WhatsApp. Facebook Messenger support is coming soon.

Instagram

Go to Channels > Instagram and click Connect Instagram. You link your Instagram professional account through Meta’s secure login, and DMs start arriving in Ciarem. Requirements:

1. An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Personal accounts cannot connect.
2. Access to the Meta login for that account.

Once connected, the agent answers DMs within Instagram’s messaging window rules: it can reply freely while the conversation is active, which is exactly where speed matters most.

Messenger

Messenger is coming soon. When it ships, you will connect the Facebook Page your customers already message through the same Meta login, and Messenger conversations will arrive in the shared Inbox and be handled by the same agent, just like Instagram DMs. We will update this page with the steps once it is available.
